Fantastic news that Eternal Spring has been nominated for two of the UK’s top documentary awards! It is a contender for Best Cinema Documentary at The Grierson Trust Awards 2023 alongside the Sinead O’Connor film Nothing Compares and joins the esteemed ‘class of ‘23 nominees’ which spans a range of categories and subject matters as diverse as, The Real Mo Farah, Arena – James Joyce’s Ulysses, Werner Herzog’s The Fire Within: Requiem For Katia and Maurice Krafft, and Hardcash Production’s documentary for ITV1: Exposure – Inside Russia: Putin's War at Home. The film is also shortlisted for the Best Historical Journalism category at the Association of International Broadcasters' annual awards.
During the UK theatrical release, it was rewarding to see the wonderful Bertha Dochouse in London extend the run to a whopping three weeks!
