So excited to launch the beta version of our site this week! And what better a subject to start than an instrument which is close to our heart.
We’ve been getting a lot of inspiration this summer from NTD Television which recently launched its new channel in Europe. This year they are holding their sixth NTD International Piano Competition, which focuses on masterpieces from the Baroque, Classical, and Romantic periods and a special contemporary classical Chinese composition. And there's a whopping * $ 22,000 * in combined prizes awaiting four of today’s piano masters!
As for the rest of us, we can simply relax and enjoy sampling some lesser known piano works as well as that unique combination of East meets West in the commissioned piece, which is only unveiled in the semi-finals.
